Reflection for using web 2.0 (from Florence)
After learning this course, I've learnt several tools of web 2.0.
It is useful for us to communicate with friends, colleagues, relatives or students via FACEBOOK. As I met my primary classmates, old friends in a short period. And also, I can see my friend's photos and share my photos here.
On the other hand, my students love to write BLOG and share their "diary" with each other. After learning to write BLOG, I may have another good way to communicate with my students. And also, I can introduce some books for them via my blog.
I think it is useful for me to show videos during art lessons. It is because I can show the working methods or processes clearly. Therefore, I love to use photostory and youtube for teaching.
I would like to recommend my students and colleagues to use web 2.0 as I believe web 2.0 can help us to learn.

Debbie's reflection on Web2.0 tools
In this course, we have learnt several Web2.0 tools. I found some of them are really useful in our school.
The Google Docs, i had introduced this application to our school's IT team teachers, can be used in project learning and collaborating works. The flexibility, the convenience and the functionality make students feel more easier in working together.
The blog, is a effective channel for teachers and students to share, to communicate and to express opinions. i had built a blog for our school library (http://myblog.yahoo.com.hk/tswmps_library) to promote our library and to announce the library news to the students. Students can leave their feedbacks on the blog so that i can realize students' reflection.
The Protopage, is suitable for us to set as the browser's homepage to keep us up-to-date but if every web site have the rss function, that would be more prefect.

I can use Protopage for quick access to everything on the Web that i go to most.I can use it to: Read news from my favorite news sites and blogs; Keep bookmarks to my most frequently accessed Web sites...it is useful friendly,i like it .

I love this protopage very much. It's a useful platform for sharing my favourite websites to my students. It helps my teaching a lot. However, it is difficult to find the RSS websites, especially the Chinese one.

facebook is a very powerful networking tools to connect people. i used it for more than a year. it helps me to find my long lost friend and keep contact with them.

it is not only a news feeder but also a advanced bookmarking tool. once set up the news feeds, it brings me up-to-date information, on the other hand, it help me to gather materials or information that i am interested in, of course, including the educational materials. so, students and my colleagues can access the information easily and i don't need to waste my time on disturbing the materials.
